Cooperland Raceway: Stillwater, OK

Cooperland Raceway is situated on 60 acres with a full scale national style motocross track and a pit bike track. The facility has ample grass pit areas for camping, a three story observation tower and men’s and women’s bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks to clean up in. Cooperland consists of two tracks, a micro or peewee track (50cc and under) and a large national style track. The peewee track is designed to give the 50cc riders something that they can feel comfortable on yet give them a challenge to look forward to. Numerous tabletops fill the track and bermed corners complete the design. The national style track is a mix of wide open, fast sections and tight technical sections. Almost all the jumps are table tops or step ups and the rest of the jumps are very safe for the beginner rider yet allow the pro level rider to have a challenge. The track is usually 25ft-35ft wide in most sections with some sections being wider and some narrower. The track has all types of dirt, some sand, clay, topsoil, silt and a mix of all depending on the area of the track. Almost 2/3 of the track runs through a natural wooded ravine so shade is abundant and steep terrain changes are numerous. A long fast start into a left hand 180 degree turn completes the track. Spectators are also able to see most of the track from one or two vantage points.

Directions:
From NE: From the car dealerships west of Stillwater on Hwy 51 continue 6 ½ miles further west to Coyle Rd, 5 miles south on Coyle to 80th Street, East on 80th for 1 ½ miles and the track entrance will be on your left.

From NW: From I-35 take exit 174 and go 6 ½ miles east on Hwy 51 to Coyle Rd, 5 miles south on Coyle to 80th Street, East on 80th for 1 ½ miles and the track entrance will be on your left.

From SE: Intersection of Hwy 177 (Perkins Rd) and Hwy 33 (3 way stop) go 8 miles west on Hwy 33 to Karsten Creek Rd, take Karsten 3 miles north to 80th St, go west on 80th for 3/10 of a mile and the track entrance will be on your right.

From SW: From I-35 take the second Guthrie exit (157) Hwy 33 east for 12 ½ miles to Coyle Rd (the first road to your left after you cross the bridge), go north on Coyle Rd for 4 miles to 80th St, go east on 80th for 1 ½ miles and the track entrance will be on your left.

Land Rules:  NO alcoholic beverages! NO glass bottles! NO pit racing, 1st gear only! Children under 18 that wish to practice/race must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with notarized permission or they will not be allowed to participate. Please repack your mufflers – we don’t want any loud motorcycles. There will be a sound decibel meter for those that don’t comply. (Stay under 100 dba.) Watch your speed on roads to and from Cooperland Raceway. Cooperland does not provide medical insurance for participants. Rider or guardian is responsible for rider’s medical insurance. Keep your pets on a leash at all times at the track for their safety & the safety of the riders.
